ParkoMobil has gone live in Bursa!

ParkoMobil’s on-street parking management software has gone live in Bursa’s city and districts.

It is known that 60% of people worldwide live in cities. With the migration from rural to urban areas, this rate has reached 90% in our country in recent years. The increase in the number of vehicles proportional to the urban population forces local administrations to find new parking areas and methods.

Fundamentally, both globally and in our country, there are indoor, outdoor, and on-street parking facilities. On-street parking, which constitutes a significant portion of parking capacity, is labor-intensive and difficult to manage and monitor. Additionally, issues such as collection problems, loss and theft rates, occupancy rate detection, and, most importantly, the lack of legal basis for issued tickets reduce efficiency and increase costs.

On the drivers’ side, parking entry and exit processes, manual procedures, and the inability to use up-to-date technologies increase customer dissatisfaction.

On-street parking facilities largely operated by municipalities in Turkey experience these problems and needs significantly. Our newly introduced ParkoMobil aims to solve these problems.
